Përkthimi LimeSurvey

A nuk do të ishte mirë që LimeSurvey të përkthehej plotësisht në gjuhën tuaj amtare? Ekipi i LimeSurvey është gjithmonë në kërkim të përkthimeve të reja dhe njerëzve që ndihmojnë në përditësimin e atyre ekzistuese. Ju lutemi lexoni këto udhëzime dhe mos hezitoni të dërgoni një email në translations@limesurvey.org nëse jeni në dyshim ose keni ndonjë pyetje tjetër.

Si të përkthehet - udhëzime hap pas hapi

Përditësimi i një përkthimi ekzistues

1. Regjistrohuni në uebsajti i LimeSurvey dhe më pas identifikohuni në llogarinë tuaj.
2. Shko te https://translate.limesurvey.org dhe identifikohu atje me të njëjtin emër përdoruesi dhe fjalëkalim.
3. Zgjidh versionin e LimeSurvey që dëshironi të përktheni dhe thjesht filloni. Pasi përkthimi juaj të miratohet, ai do të përfshihet automatikisht në publikimin e qëndrueshëm javor dhe emri juaj i përdoruesit do të vlerësohet në regjistrin e ndryshimeve.
4. Nëse jeni të interesuar të bëheni një përkthyes kryesor për gjuhën tuaj me aftësinë për të miratuar të përkthyer rishtas strings, ju lutemi na kontaktoni në translations@limsurvey.org. Një pozicion i tillë kërkon një maksimum prej rreth një orë pune në javë - është e rëndësishme për ne që të jeni të besueshëm për ta bërë këtë.

Personalizoni një përkthim ekzistues

Ndonjëherë mund të dëshironi të modifikoni një përkthim ekzistues në mënyrë që të përshtatet më mirë me situatën tuaj të veçantë të anketimit. Në këtë rast, bëni sa më poshtë:

1. Shko te https://translate.limesurvey.org, zgjidhni versionin e LimeSurvey që dëshironi të përktheni dhe gjuhën e caktuar që dëshironi të përktheni modifiko.
2. Në fund të faqes së përkthimit do të gjeni një opsion për të eksportuar të gjitha vargjet si skedar *.po. Klikoni mbi eksportin dhe ruajeni si skedar *.po në hard diskun tuaj lokal:
   
3. Shkarkoni dhe instaloni Poedit.
4. Filloni Poedit dhe redaktoni skedarin *.po të shkarkuar - modifikoni përkthime të veçanta.
5. Kur ruani skedarin *.po, krijohet automatikisht një skedar *.mo. Ky i fundit do të lexohet nga LimeSurvey.
6. Hapi i fundit është të vendosni skedarin *.mo në dosjen e duhur të gjuhës në /locale duke zëvendësuar atë ekzistues.

Shënim: Nëse jeni duke përdorur LimeSurvey Pro(vetëm për përdoruesit e Cooperate and Enterprise), ekipi do të jetë i lumtur të vendos skedarin për ju. Thjesht krijoni një biletë mbështetëse dhe bashkëngjitni skedarin *.po ( jo .*mo ).

Creating a new translation

1. First of all, get access to the development version of LimeSurvey. For detailed instructions, access the source code.
2. Download and install Poedit .
3. Now you have to find out the language-code for your language - you can search for your language-code in the IANA Language Subtag Registry.
4. Go into the /locale directory (located in the LimeSurvey root directory) and create a directory named after your language code.
5. Download your language template by going to on the following link [1]. Select the project, then any language (e.g. go for the English entry), and scroll to the bottom. There you have the possibility to export the language file as <your_language_code>.po file.
6. Copy the <your_language_code>.po file to the newly created folder located in the /locale directory.
7. Open the file with Poedit and translate everything you need to translate.
8. To make LimeSurvey know about your language, you must add it in application/helpers/surveytranslator_helper.php (located in the LimeSurvey root directory). Open that file with a text editor and add your language in the same way the other languages are defined in that file.
9. Save - in order to allow LimeSurvey to see the newly added language, save the modified *.po file. This will automatically generate the *.mo file in the same folder, which will be read by LimeSurvey.
10. Send the new *.po file and the updated surveytranslator_helper.php file to translations@limesurvey.org.

If your language use a lot of special character : please check what font must be used for pdf generation (check with dejavusans for example). Then we can add this font file in alternatepdffontfile default configuration.

Other part to be translated

• LimeSurvey use moment.js. When you send the message to translations@limesurvey.org check what language code must be used.
