Limit the number of column created in database. This settings can not be updated when survey is active, by default use the total number of choice when survey is activated. This force too the max answers element, final max answer are the minimum value between max answers and this setting.
This option limits the number of columns created in the database (more precisely, in the answers table). If you give a value lower than {{QS:max_answers}, then this attribute will represent the upper limit of the maximum choices you can make.

Maximum columns for answers (max_col_for_ans)

Description

This option limits the number of columns created in the database (more precisely, in the answers table). If you give a value lower than {{QS:max_answers}, then this attribute will represent the upper limit of the maximum choices you can make.

Valid Values

  • Any numerical value
  • The default value is the total number of answer options your question contains. The number will be displayed after you activate for the first time the survey.
