LimeSurvey pozwala użytkownikom szybko tworzyć intuicyjne, złożone ankiety dostępne online składające się z pytań i odpowiedzi, które mogą działać bez problemu będąc udostępniane dziesiątkom a nawet tysiącom uczestników. Samo oprogramowanie ankietowe nie wymaga przewodnika dla respondentów biorących udział w badaniu. Niniejszy podręcznik koncentruje się zatem na zagadnieniach związanych z instalacją aplikacji, administrowaniem instalacji oraz wsparciem dla twórców ankiet, administratorów i użytkowników generujących raporty.
