Installation - LimeSurvey CE/nl

Let op: Deze pagina is voor de installatie vanaf versie 2.0. De pagina voor versie 1.92 staat hier. De instructies voor een upgrade staan hier.

Algemeen

Het LimeSurvey-project biedt twee opties om LimeSurvey te installeren:

• Op een webserver: volg de instructies op deze pagina
  

• Op je eigen PC.
  Hiermee kun je lokaal enquêtes maken (vanwege de reactiesnelheid, of om ze vooraf te ontwikkelen/testen) om ze later naar een webserver te uploaden. Hiervoor is een download gemaakt, waarin een webserver, de database en de applicatie zitten. Bekijk hier de instructies.

Controleren of je LimeSurvey op je website kunt gebruiken

Controleer of de instellingen op de server voldoen aan de volgende eisen. Dit wordt grotendeels ook tijdens de installatie gecheckt.

Bij de installatie worden de systeemvereisten gecontroleerd!

Minimaal vereist:

• Minimaal 180Mb beschikbaar
• MySQL 5.5.3 of later OF Microsoft SQL Server 2005 of later OF Postgres 9 of later
• PHP 5.3.3 of later (aanbevolen minstens 5.5) met de volgende modules en bibliotheken actief:
  • mbstring (zie ook: Installatie FAQ)
  • PDO database driver voor MySQL (pdo_mysql of pdo_mysqli) of Postgres (pdo_pgsql) of MSSQL (pdo_sqlsrv voor Windows en pdo_dblib voor Linux)
  • Verder alle default bibliotheken (hash, session etc.)

Let erop dat LimeSurvey 2.x andere database drivers gebruikt dan versie 1.x. Als je tijdens de installatie de mededeling krijgt dat er geen DBO-driver is gevonden, neem dan contact op met je webhoster en vraag of ze deze kunnen activeren.

NB.: Als je in Linux een verbinding maakt met een MSSQL database op een Windows-server met gebruik van dblib PDO-driver, dan moet de onderliggende FreeTDS goed ingesteld zijn. Lees de pagina Problemen oplossen voor meer informatie.

Optionele PHP Extensies:

• GD-Library met FreeType support voor captcha's of grafieken in de statistieken. (zie ook: PHP GD-Library Extensie documentatie)
• IMAP (redelijk standaard) voor de Niet verzonden e-mail. (zie ook: PHP IMAP Extensie documentatie)
• LDAP voor het importeren van tokens via LDAP. zie ook: PHP LDAP Documentatie
• Zip (redelijk standaard) voor het uploaden van templates en het importeren van bronbestanden. (zie ook: PHP Zip Extensie documentatie)
• Zlib (redelijk standaard) voor de ComfortUpdate (zie ook: PHP Zlib Extensie documentatie)

In de meeste gevallen kan je webhoster je helpen om deze componenten te activeren.

Als je LimeSurvey op een Microsoft IIS server wilt draaien, kijk dan bij "Installatie op XP met IIS".

Browser compatibility

For the survey-taking side, we currently support IE9 and all newer comparable browsers like FF, Chrome, Opera, etc. with activated JavaScript. For the administration part, we currently support IE11 and all newer comparable browsers like FF, Chrome, Opera, etc. with activated JavaScript. We do not support any IE version running in Intranet-mode or Compatibility-mode!

Screen sizes

We support any reasonable screen size for survey taking (360px x 640px and up). The minimum supported screen resolution for the LimeSurvey administration page is 1280px x 1024px.

Hosting van LimeSurvey

LimeSurvey should work with most hosting companies that provide PHP and MYSQL. If you want a ready-installed version of LimeSurvey, you could try LimeSurvey Professional, else check out our list of LimeSurvey-compatible hosting companies.

Uitpakken van LimeSurvey-download

Uncompress the zip file into a dedicated directory/folder using your preferred compression software. When you uncompress the file make sure that you uncompress the directory structure with the files (this is default behavior for most compression programs). The path name for the installation directory should not include ( or ) special characters, but may include the space character.

Informatie over de server verzamelen

You will need to know the following things to install LimeSurvey on your web server correctly:

• Your intended website URL where your scripts will reside (e.g: http://my.domain.com/limesurvey)
• The physical disk location on your server where your scripts will reside (e.g.: /home/usr/htdocs/limesurvey)
• The IP/net location of your database server (ie: localhost)
• If your database server uses a non-standard port, find out which port it is.
• Your user name and password for your database server
• With most providers you can't let the script create the database, but have to do it yourself. If you are using such a provider, please create a database (for example limesurvey) yourself.

De bestanden uploaden op de webserver

Met behulp van je favoriete FTP programma maak je verbinding met de webserver. Maak hierin een directory of map aan. Check of je de bestanden "in binaire modus" gaat uploaden (instellingen in het FTP programma). Als je in ASCII-mode gaat uploaden zullen plaatjes niet werken, en mogelijk ook de code niet. Upload de bestanden zoals ze in de mapstructuur staan.

Set directory permissions

For the script to work properly it needs certain access to some directories - this applies especially to Linux/*nix systems.

• The "/limesurvey/tmp" directory (and all its subdirectories and files) are used for imports & uploads and should be set to Read & Write for your webserver.
• The "/limesurvey/upload/" directory (and all its subdirectories and files) must also have Read & Write for your webserver in order to enable picture and media files upload.
• The "/limesurvey/application/config/" directory also needs Read & Write permissions for your webserver.
• The other directories can be set to Read Only. You may wish in Linux/Unix to set the permissions on each file within the /limesurvey/admin directory to Read Only.

  If you are using Linux, then setting permissions depends on your webserver configuration. For example, if you use Apache HTTPD on CentOS, type chmod -R 755 <directory> ; chown -R apache <directory>. This will give everyone access to read, and your webserver will have the permission to write. Check the following link for more information on Linux permissions.

Een databasegebruiker aanmaken

LimeSurvey will create a database and the tables inside it. To be able to do this, it will need the user name and password of a database user. We generally recommend to create a database user with the following permissions:

- MySQL: SELECT, CREATE, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, ALTER, DROP, INDEX

- PostgreSQL: SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, TRUNCATE, TRIGGER

- Microsoft SQL Server: Onbekend, indien u dit weet, vult dit dan a.u.b. toe.

Het installatiescript starten

Go to "http://www.example.com/limesurvey/admin". If you configured everything correctly, the LimeSurvey installer should be starting - just follow the instructions. You will be asked if to create the database and/or create the tables inside the database. LimeSurvey will then create the needed tables in the database.

Het beheerscript voor het eerst opstarten

Nadat de installer gedraaid heeft ben je klaar! Ga in je browser naar het administratie-gedeelte van LimeSurvey. Als je "limesurvey" als mapnaam hebt gebruikt, wordt dat iets als "http://mijn.domein.nl/limesurvey/admin".

You should get a login screen. The default login credentials (if not changed during the installation) are:

Gebruikersnaam: admin
Wachtwoord: password

Daarna word je gevraagd om het wachtwoord te wijzigen. Veel plezier!

Problemen

Like all computer programs, most of the time things will work just like the instructions say, but sometimes they just won't. There are too many possible reasons for things not going according to plan to describe here. If you have trouble, first check out the Installation FAQ.
