Generelles

Es gibt zwei Wege wie man eine Umfrage beenden kann: Zeitlich oder Deaktivieren.

Wir empfehlen dringend die Umfrage zeitlich auslaufen zu lassen (Ablaufdatum), um diese zu schließen. - Warum: Siehe unten.

Ablaufdatum

→ In den Umfrageeinstellungen wird im Tab "Publizieren & Zugangskontrolle" ein Datum bei "End-Datum" ausgewählt.

• Es gehen keine Ergebnisse verloren
• Es gehen keine Informationen zu den Teilnehmern an der Umfrage verloren
• Änderungen an Fragen, Gruppen, und Parametern einer Umfrage sind nur begrenzt möglich
• Eine abgelaufene Umfrage ist nicht mehr für Teilnehmer zugänglich. Wenn ein Teilnehmer die Umfrage-URL aufruft, wird eine Nachricht angezeigt, dass die Umfrage nicht länger verfügbar ist.

Alternatively, when trying to deactivate the survey (by clicking on the "stop this survey" button), an option to expire the survey is provided, which performs the same function:

If you decide to expiry your survey:

• No results are lost
• No respondent information is lost
• Change of questions, groups, and parameters is limited
• An expired survey is not accessible to participant (they only see a message that the survey has expired)
• It's possible to perform statistics on responses inside LimeSurvey

To make the survey available to your participants again, change or remove the expiration date from the publication & access panel.

Deaktivierung

→ in der Umfrageleiste klickt man auf "Umfrage deaktivieren"

• Alle Ergebnisse gehen verloren (zumindest sind sie nicht mehr direkt in LimeSurvey erreichbar)
• Alle Informationen zu den Teilnehmern an der Umfrage gehen verloren
• Alle Fragen, Gruppen und Parameter einer Umfrage können wir frei bearbeitet werden
• Eine deaktivierte Umfrage ist nicht zugänglich für den Teilnehmer (im Regelfalle sieht der Teilnehmer, dass die Umfrage nicht mehr verfügbar ist). Es sei denn, in den globalen Einstellungen wurde aktviert, dass eine deaktivierte Umfrage auch für nicht-Admins zugänglich ist.

Aus den genannten Gründen wird es daher empfohlen, dass man in den meisten Fällen eine Umfrage ablaufen lässt.

Once loaded, click on the Deactivate survey button:

• All results are lost (you cannot access them via the LimeSurvey user interface)
• All respondent information is lost
• The deactivated survey is not accessible to the respondent (a message will be displayed stating that you are not permitted to see this survey)
• All questions, groups, and parameters are editable again

Hife! Ich habe ausversehen meine Umfrage deaktiviert - was nun?

Wenn Sie ihre Umfrage versehentlich deaktiviert haben, dann ist es sehr wichtig, dass Sie die Umfrage möglichst nicht verändern.

Denn dann, und nur dann, werden die folgenden Schritte funktionieren:

1. Aktivieren Sie Ihre Umfrage wieder.
2. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol "Antworten & Statistik" im Menü "Antworten".
3. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol "Importiere Antworten aus einer deaktivierten Umfragetabelle".
4. Wählen Sie die alte Antworttabelle.
5. Klicken Sie auf den "Importiere Antworten" Knopf.

  You can import all the old responses that are compatible with your current survey. Compatibility is determined by comparing column types and names, the ID field being always ignored. Using type coercion may break your data; use it with care or not at all if possible.

Currently, LimeSurvey detects and handles the following changes:

• Question is moved to another group (result is imported correctly).
• Question is removed from target (result is ignored).
• Question is added to target (result is set to database default value).
