Attivare un'indagine

Una volta che sei soddisfatto della struttura del sondaggio, puoi attivarlo facendo clic sul pulsante 'Attiva il sondaggio' ":

Prima dell'attivazione, verrà visualizzata una finestra che ti chiederà alcune impostazioni generali relative al sondaggio:

• '"Risposte anonime:"' Questa opzione ti consente di determinare se le risposte al tuo sondaggio sono abbinate alle informazioni della tabella dei token dei partecipanti o se sono mantenute "anonime". Se decidi di attivarla, il tuo sondaggio sarà impostato per rendere anonime le risposte - non ci sarà modo di collegare le risposte ai partecipanti;
• '"Salva indirizzo IP:"' Se abilitata, l'indirizzo IP del rispondente al sondaggio sarà memorizzato insieme alle sue risposte;!
• '"Salva tempistiche:"' Se abilitata, viene registrato il tempo trascorso su ciascuna pagina del sondaggio da ciascun partecipante;
• '"Data timbro:"'Attivalo se vuoi vedere la data in cui sono state inviate le risposte;
• '"Salva URL referente:"'Se abilitato, l'URL del referente verrà archiviato insieme alle risposte.

Dopo aver abilitato le funzionalità desiderate, fai clic sul pulsante "'Salva e attiva sondaggio'". Verrà visualizzato il seguente messaggio:

Quando si attiva un sondaggio, LimeSurvey:

• crea una tabella di database specifica in cui sono archiviate tutte le risposte del sondaggio, ed una nuova voce viene aggiunta per ogni nuova risposta al sondaggio
• consente agli amministratori del sondaggio di manually enter data/it|Inserimento dati|Inserire manualmente i dati nella tabella delle risposte o modificare i dati esistenti

Prima di attivare un sondaggio, tieni presente che:

• quando il sondaggio viene inizializzato, puoi modificare il testo per domande, risposte, sondaggio, ecc., ma non il tipo di domanda o il tipo di risposta.
• non puoi aggiungere nuove domande o eliminare domande. Né puoi aggiungere risposte a nessuna delle domande "a matrice" o "a scelta multipla" - tuttavia puoi aggiungere risposte alle domande "elenco di base".
• se disattivi (non fai scadere) il sondaggio, le risposte veranno spostate in una tabella di backup e perderai le informazioni sulla partecipazione, ma sarai di nuovo in grado di aggiungere nuove domande e gruppi e di modificare i parametri del sondaggio.

Problems when activating the survey

Too many questions

When you activate your survey you may have too many questions in your survey so that the response table cannot be created. The error would say something like 'Too many columns' in older versions of LimeSurvey. In the latest version the error message would say "The survey answer table cannot be created. This is probably caused by too many questions or sub-questions in the survey. If possible try to remove questions from the survey."

In this case you could try one or more of the following things:

• Try to remove some questions in your survey.
• Did you always use the correct question types? A common error would be to use a Multiple-choice question type with a limit of one choice instead of using a List(Radio) question type. The former one would use a lot more data fields, while the latter one uses only one.
• The length of the column names seem to matter. If you copy the survey using a small survey ID (you can set that when copying the survey) you might be able to activate the survey
• If nothing of the above helps or it is impossible to shorten the survey you could split the survey to two surveys. In that case you would auto-load the second survey at the end of the first one. You could skip the welcome screen of the second survey and the participant would barely notice the switch.

  If the survey is active and you open several tabs by clicking on "Execute survey", you may not be able to fill out the survey (an error will pop up suggesting you to use the index to navigate the survey) in tabs previously opened to the last one. When that happens, please close all the tabs and make sure to open only one tab at a time to test the live version of your survey.
