Back-up database

If you would like to upgrade your LimeSurvey installation or transfer it to another location/server, we highly recommend you to back up all your data (questions, participants, responses, etc.). You can use the Backup entire database function in this scope.

Na het klikken wordt je in een pop-up-scherm gevraagd waar je het sql-bestand met de back-up wilt opslaan.

This backup is recommended when you wish to:

• transfer your LimeSurvey installation to another server;
• upgrade your LimeSurvey installation (non-ComfortUpdate solution).

Note: If you use the ComfortUpdate functionality, a database backup is automatically created in the /tmp folder.

Deze optie wordt ook gebruikt bij wijzigingen in verschillende instellingen (bijvoorbeeld in de code) zijn gedaan. Hierdoor rak je geen gegevens kwijt als de update mislukt.
